The Role
We are looking for a problem-solving Finance Officer with experience of accounts and legal billing (including legal aid) to work within our Practice Team to support our dynamic team of lawyers at our busy London office. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, submission, and management of invoices to clients and the claiming of costs from the Legal Aid Agency, which will include reviewing case files, time records, and disbursements to ensure accurate cost submissions. You will also play a vital role as the bridge between the firm's outsourced cashiering service and fee-earners and the practice team to ensure all finance queries are dealt with promptly. You will also be responsible for dealing with office expenses and payments. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to support our team efficiently.
