About the Role
Reporting to the EH Groups senior leadership team, the Finance Officer will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation. Responsibilities will include:
Processing financial transactions and managing key accounting functions
Preparing reports, reconciliations and financial statements
Running payroll processing and compliance
Contributing to budgeting and audit preparation
Ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards
The successful candidate will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and help ensure the smooth integration of finance systems and data across the Group.
Who Were Looking For
This is a mid-level role suited to a finance professional with a solid grounding in accounting, payroll and compliance, and a willingness to contribute across a broad range of tasks.
Essential skills and experience include:
AAT Level 2 qualification (minimum)
Proficiency in financial software such as SAGE and/or Xero
Experience in financial operations, reporting and reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
A collaborative and professional approach
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in systems integration and data transformation, knowledge of the health and social care sector, or those who bring an understanding of working with public sector contracts and regulatory requirements.
