We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the organisation's financial health. Duties
Manage accounts payable processes using software such as Xero & Sage.
Maintain accurate financial records through data entry and reconciliation of accounts
Process invoices and ensure timely payments while adhering to organisational policies
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review
Utilise accounting software like Xero to update and monitor financial data
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions
Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting processes as required
Admin support throughout the organisation as and when required.
Qualifications
Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within financial services organisations
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero & Sage.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and financial data entry practices
Ideally a finance qualification or relevant experience
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret financial data and prepare clear reports for management
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Prior experience in data entry within a finance environment is advantageous
