ABOUT THIS ROLE





The Finance Officer - Productions plays a key part in the effective functioning of the Production Finance team which provides support to the Productions department. The role encompasses a variety of different financial processing and administrative tasks including elements of purchase ledger and accounts receivable. The role contributes to the progression and evolution of the Production Finance team by working with new systems and processes to ensure an efficient and effective service to the organisation.


ABOUT YOU





You will have experience within a comparable financial processing role and working within a team to deliver a high-quality service to the organisation. You will have experience of working with financial software and Microsoft Excel on a day-to-day basis and will be comfortable learning new systems and ways of working. You will have strong attention to detail as well as analytical and numerical skills to produce work that will be used by senior management in reaching decisions. You will be organised with an ability to multi-task while also possessing the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




Working with internal and external stakeholders to respond to finance queries in a professional and timely manner. Contribute to the accounts payable process which covers a wide range of suppliers, royalty holders, freelancers and investors. Managing the team's accounts receivable function, raising invoices and liaising with customers. Contributing to the administration of other finance processes petty cash, company credit cards, expenses etc. Preparing the cycle royalty statements for payment and distribution to royalty holders Overseeing certain balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure they present an accurate picture in a timely manner. Creating and distributing advance sales reports which shows the overnight sales performance of active shows across the Group. Assisting with other tasks within the team including the preparation of the weekly production accounts, annual statutory accounts and ad hoc projects



PERFORMANCE MEASURES


Accurate and timely processing of financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Builds positive relationships with the wider team, productions department, other finance colleagues and wider stakeholders. Becomes a trusted source of information and advice regarding financial processing Learns new systems and provides feedback on the effectiveness of internal processes and controls Maintains "clean" reconciliations of balance sheet accounts Distributes sales reports on a timely basis
