The Finance Systems Support and Projects Team sits within Financial Services, part of the Finance and Customer Services Directorate. The team is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Council's core financial system, ensuring smooth operation across a range of key modules and functions, including:
Financial Reporting
General Ledger
Accounts Payable
Procurement
System Interfaces
Reporting to the Principal Finance Officer (Systems), the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency, integrity, and security of the Council's financial systems, alongside maintaining the financial reporting solution and training documentation.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
