We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative finance professional to join the Regeneration and Environment Finance Team. The role will provide finance business partnering support to stakeholders across services and to Finance team members.

Reporting to the Principal Finance Officer, Regeneration and Environment, the role is a varied one, supporting Property and Facilities Services. It includes support to income generating services, as well as revenue services. You will be working closely with services on budget monitoring, budget setting and closedown activities, as well as providing financial support to ensure that officers comply with the Council's FPPR requirements. The role includes the management of one Band H Finance Officer.

A proven track record of understanding and presenting complex financial information to managers and staff is essential. You will have experience of working in a finance or audit role including operating or auditing computerised or manual financial systems.
