Sheffield Students Union is recruiting for a part time Finance Officer to join the Finance team. This role will provide support across the Finance function providing the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of financial activity including all transactional elements of accounts.

This is a part time role working 21 hours over either 3 or 4 days to be agreed with the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities include:



Sales and purchase ledger processing, ensuring invoices are dealt with in a timely manner using our new accounting system Aqilla Invoice processing Weekly payment runs, monitoring of bank balances and reconciliations Credit control including liaising with customers to resolve issues Reconciliation of supplier statements including liaising with suppliers to resolve issues Support the Finance Team in the month end process

Grade B - Starting salary 26,009 (1 FTE).

Actual salary

based on hours worked 15,605
