Job Description

Valmiera Glass UK Ltd has an opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our team in Sherborne, Dorset. This is initially a 3 month contract with the possibility to extend.

The Finance Officer will ensure the efficient operation of the UK finance functions and work closely with the Finance team in VSS. Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of financial reports and analysis, product costing, annual budgets and monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Suitable accounting qualification, such as AAT Strong Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration and reporting Familiarity with relevant financial software Experience using SAP is a plus

Hours of Work:

37.5 per week, Monday - Friday flexi time working.

Salary:

35,000 per annum

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 35,000.00 per year
