As a growing organisation, we are looking to expand our finance team and bring on board a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Officer who is eager to make a real impact.
Role Overview
As a Finance Officer you will be a key player in supporting the day-to-day financial operations across a variety of areas, including Treasury, Sales Ledger, Rents Ledger, and Purchase Ledger. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a broad range of financial skills while contributing to the financial stability and growth of our company. Working closely with other team members, you will ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, processed promptly, and fully reconciled. In addition, you will help maintain strong financial controls and support a variety of finance processes that ensure the integrity of the Group's operations.
What You'll Do
Raise and issue sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Process purchase invoices and supplier payments efficiently and accurately
Post transactions and correspondence to the finance system in a timely manner
Reconcile tenant rent accounts, process Direct Debit collections and refunds
Provide responses to general financial queries from internal teams and external stakeholders
Support the broader finance team with other ad hoc tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with:
Experience of working in a finance role would be desirable
The ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel
Enthusiasm for developing a broad skill set across various financial functions
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
This role is perfect for someone looking to build a career in finance, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of the finance function.
