Macmillan Finance Operations Finance team is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated team player to join their team and enhance their commitment to operational finance excellence.
This position requires you to have some experience in a Finance role, and be keen to leverage and expand your knowledge. For us, this means following efficient and effective processes in accounts payable and receivable; conducting banking and general ledger reconciliation; and with your strong administration and communication skills, provide excellent customer service to our key suppliers, internal buyers and employees. You will be part of a multinational group and learn how to use SAP (our finance system).
About you:
Ideally, you will have good knowledge of Microsoft systems (including Excel) and have great attention to detail. With your exceptional administration and communication skills, you will ensure great collaboration and efficiency with stakeholders, contributing to our team's seamless operation. We are looking for two or more years' experience in a similar finance role and a qualification at GCSE or equivalent at grade 4 or above in Maths and English. This permanent position is 35 hours per week worked between 8.30am and 4.45pm, Monday to Thursday (with an hour for lunch) and 8.30am to 3.30pm Friday. Although this is a hybrid position, in your first few weeks you will be required in the office full-time.
