Join Granby as our Finance Operations Lead - a flexible, part-time opportunity for a motivated, curious, and solution focused finance professional. We're looking for an experienced individual who thrives on understanding the detail, is highly organised, and brings a proactive approach to problem-solving. In this role, you'll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, insight, and efficiency across our finance function.

This is a part-time hybrid role (24-28 hours per week), with flexibility across 3 to 5 working days and adaptable start/finish times. As long as deadlines and deliverables are met, you'll have the autonomy to shape your working pattern to suit your lifestyle.

Purpose:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations by owning the full invoicing process, producing accurate management accounts with insightful commentary, and supporting strategic decision-making through the delivery of timely, high-quality financial information.

Key Accountables:



1. Own and manage the purchase and sales invoicing processes.

2. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

3. Prepare accurate monthly management accounts with accompanying commentary and variance analysis.

4. Review and manage aged debts and recovery of outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Maintain bank, credit cards and petty cash reconciliations.

2. Ensure VAT compliance and accurate returns are submitted.

3. Assist Client Administration team with monthly/quarterly report preparation and annual rate card production.

4. Set up and maintain clients and suppliers in accounting software.

5. Manage aged debts: chase outstanding payments, obtain remittances and resolve any issues.

6. Propose weekly supplier payment list for review.

7. Reconcile supplier statements against invoices and resolve any issues.

8. Liaise with clients and suppliers to maintain strong professional working relationships and ensure smooth financial operations.

9. Support with annual financial audit.

1. Any other finance duties and reporting as requested.

2. Adhere to company policies and procedures.

3. Collaborate across departments to support business goals.

4. Values champion representative for Finance Team.

KPI's measured against:



1. Absence levels & lateness.

2. Accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts preparation, purchase ledger and sales ledger postings.

3. Manage aged debtors within agreed thresholds to support cash flow and minimise overdue balances.

4. Following and adhering to commercial and financial timetable.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.93-17.03 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 28 per week
