Are you a finance leader who thrives on precision, efficiency, and making a real impact? We're seeking a

Finance Operations Manager

to lead our central finance function, delivering accurate reporting, robust controls, and streamlined processes that support our global business.



Working closely with the CFO, you'll ensure the integrity of financial reporting while driving operational excellence across management accounts, budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll. You'll also play a key role in developing people and processes as we centralise and scale our finance operations.

What you'll be doing:





Management and Financial Reporting




Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts. Review and analyse all expenses and revenue lines in the P&L, providing insightful commentary and recommendations. Prepare monthly results commentary with variance analysis, partnering with the CFO on trends and insights. Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with FP&A. Lead the year-end audit process and ensure timely completion of financial statements. Coordinate with external accountants to ensure accurate statutory and tax reporting.



Systems, Processes & Controls




Maintain the integrity of financial systems and troubleshoot Enterprise Management System issues. Lead the implementation of an accounts payable system to automate processes, boost efficiency, and strengthen controls. Continuously review and improve finance-related policies and procedures. Maintain and update the property lease register across all regions. Ensure strong cash management controls and review balance sheet reconciliations regularly. Resolve reconciling items promptly, safeguarding data accuracy.



Budgeting & Forecasting




Prepare and consolidate annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections. Ensure data integrity and alignment with business performance. Support department heads in budget preparation and review. Monitor actuals vs. budget and forecast, providing analysis and challenge where needed.



Accounts Payable & Receivable




Oversee Accounts Payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of agent commissions, host family payments, and vendor invoices. Collaborate with Group Credit Control to manage collections and reduce bad debt risk.



Centralisation & Integration




Lead the transition to a centralised management accounting and accounts payable function across regions. Define staffing and support structures to enable successful integration and sustained performance. Foster strong internal relationships across finance teams, centres, and departments.



Team Leadership & Development




Lead and develop direct reports with clear communication, delegation, and performance management. Promote a positive, high-performing culture through regular feedback, involvement, and continuous improvement.



What you'll bring:




Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent). Minimum 5 years' experience in finance operations or financial control roles. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proven expertise in management accounting. Excellent knowledge of financial systems, controls, and reporting processes. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS is an advantage. Ability to prioritise a dynamic workload and work across international teams. Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues, solve problems, and drive decisions to closure. Group reporting experience, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow. Advanced Excel skills.
