Job Description

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Banking teams.
  • Ensure accurate, high-volume, multi-currency processing of transactions.
  • Oversee weekly payment runs, supplier master data, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Manage quarterly rent payments, staff T&E claims, and film hire invoices.
  • Ensure timely raising of sales invoices, proactive debt chasing, and accurate cash allocation.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and align payment runs with forecasted positions.
  • Implement improvements to banking and AP processes for enhanced efficiency.
  • Provide documentation for statutory reporting requirements and maintain governance frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and benchmark performance against industry standards.
  • Drive efficiency, accuracy, and best practices across all transactional finance activities.

Skills/experience required:
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and cash management processes.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-currency invoice processing environments.
  • Experience leading large teams in a dynamic finance environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial controls, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity.
  • Competence in preparing cash flow forecasts and managing payment cycles.
  • Understanding of statutory audit requirements, VAT, tax compliance, and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience working with multiple bank accounts and currencies.
  • Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline and accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
