We are looking for a committed and commercially-minded
Finance & Operations Team Member
to help us continue this growth.
Your Role:
This is a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of our operational support team. You'll be based at our
newly refurbished office in Kingsway Shopping Centre, Newport
, but will work closely with our wider team -- including colleagues in our
Bristol office
, where a large portion of our clients and group operations are based.
Beacon Lily and the wider Boyce Group are active across the South West and South Wales, with sites and developments in
Bristol, Newport, Stroud, Cardiff, and Chippenham
, covering sectors such as property, construction, hospitality, and retail. As part of the team, you'll help ensure these businesses run efficiently, stay compliant, and have the day-to-day support they need.
Some travel between locations will be required, so access to your own transport is important.
You'll support multiple businesses with finance, systems, purchasing, and general business management tasks -- helping ensure our clients and in-house operations stay efficient, compliant, and well-coordinated.
Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day finance functions across multiple brands -- including invoice processing, reconciliations, cashflow tracking, and credit control.
Preparation of internal reports and business performance summaries.
Liaise with suppliers, resolve payment queries, and support with contract and subscription oversight.
Maintain accurate records across platforms -- including project management, property systems, HR scheduling, and purchasing tools.
Reviewing business operations and efficiency, including updating processes, implementing improvements, and helping drive business performance across the group.
Procurement and purchasing across the group -- including supplier liaison, contract reviews, cost comparisons, and ensuring value for money
Contribute to wider business support -- including onboarding new ventures and helping drive operational efficiency across the Group.
Support strategic projects initiated by the Finance & Operations Manager and business directors.
We're Looking For:
2+ years' experience in a finance, operations, or business support role
Good understanding of small-to-medium business operations
Experience using
Xero
(or similar accounting platforms)
Well-organised and proactive, with strong communication skills
Able to work independently, juggle tasks, and meet deadlines
Comfortable working across both
Newport and Bristol
offices (transport required)
