Position Overview



The global Finance team is responsible for accounting, cash management, tax, and the accurate financial reporting of the company while driving the digital transformation of the finance function. Finance develops and leads processes that link sales, operational, and financial functions. The Financial Systems Lead will be responsible for analysing existing processes, evaluating and communicating automation opportunities within D365, implementing such solutions, and providing training and oversight cross functionally. The Finance Systems lead will have excellent financial systems experience and recent experience working with Dynamics 365 for a multi-national company. The Lead will have the ability to take initiative, produce results and collaborate effectively with a talented team.

Core Responsibilities/Impact:



Analyse existing accounting processes in D365 understand pain points, identify areas for improvement, standardisation, automation. Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance teams, IT and others where required to understand and document business requirements. Demonstrate Dynamics 365 Finance solution capabilities, propose comprehensive solutions based on Dynamics 365 Finance framework, contribute to process improvement workshops, support solution design to address business requirements. Document existing and future Finance business processes including system flows, roles and responsibilities, controls. Provide clear and thorough end user documentation as well as application support documents to include in the company's knowledge base. Provide Dynamics 365 Finance SME support, investigate and identify root cause and resolve issues related to Finance Processes. Solution testing, assist with user acceptance testing, end-user training. Develop strong relationships with global Trio team, including those outside the financial function Support Finance team during month-end close, assisting with accounting and reporting tasks. Lead initiatives to upskill the Finance team in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including creating user manuals, delivering targeted training sessions, and developing a network of super users.

Duties and Responsibilities:



3+ years' experience in Dynamics 365 Finance functional area configuration, customisation and implementation of D365 FinOps components. Good understanding of D365 Finance processes including General ledger, Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Procurement, Taxes, Cash and bank management, Consolidations, Credit and collections, Year-end closing, Chart of accounts, Dimensions, Controls, User security, Workflows. Previous experience streamlining and automating finance operational processes (AP, AR, GL etc.) Ability to effectively challenge change requests and arrive at a practical conclusion aligned with Dynamics 365 best practice Strong general financial knowledge, ideally a qualified accountant

Required Skills:



Detailed understanding of accounting principles; ability to explain accounting concepts to non-financial managers Experience in development of internal controls and financial systems development Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are essential. Ability to communicate with various levels of management and team members and with both financial and non-financial audiences Strong work ethic. High degree of professionalism. Belief in teams. Strong sense of ethics and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills
