We're recruiting for a Finance Technician to join us. We're offering a competitive base salary.

Join our Cardiff-based Accounting Operations team as a Finance Technician, where you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting continuous improvement across our processes. What you'll be doing:

Preparing and posting daily and monthly Accounting Operations transactions Processing same-day and intra-account payments in line with documented procedures Reconciling financial data and investigating outstanding items Contributing to monthly financial and management accounts preparation Supporting the delivery of analytical insights and management information Maintaining and updating financial procedure notes Identifying and suggesting process improvements Collaborating with team members and supporting cross-training initiatives

Qualifications



Who we're looking for:

Studying towards or holding a relevant qualification, or experience in a finance or investment environment Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Effective communicator across different teams and levels Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive approach to improving processes and escalating concerns
