Financial Accounts Manager

to join our team and help steer our financial operations with precision and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all financial operations, including client invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll for security staff. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements. Oversee contract-based billing and ensure accurate revenue recognition for security services. Maintain effective cash flow management and lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company law, and industry-specific legislation. Liaise with auditors, HMRC, and other regulatory bodies as needed. Implement robust financial controls, systems, and processes to safeguard company finances. Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support management decision-making. Oversee pension schemes, expenses, and financial compliance for a mobile security workforce.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CIMA, or CPA certification preferred) Proven experience (3+ years) in a financial management or senior accounting role Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Effective communication and team leadership skills
