You'll ensure month-end numbers are watertight and insight-driven. Your financial acumen will directly support key commercial decisions.
Ensure integrity and accuracy of month-end reported actuals.
Partner with Finance Business Partners to analyse budget assumptions and variances.
Prepare month-end and quarterly management packs for senior review.
Challenge journal calculations and raise prepayments or accruals as needed.
Review and close prior month actions, driving continuous improvement.
Manage master data requests and entity-level reporting activities.
Prepare and report quarterly management accounts, ensuring balance accuracy.
Support quarterly analytical reviews by investigating costs and providing commentary.
Assist with balance sheet queries and WBS settlement processes.

Full qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
Experience within utilities, energy, or large complex industry.
Strong background in financial reporting and management accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness.
Confident communicator able to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis).
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
