Job Description

Financial Accountant role to take ownership of core financial accounting, reporting, and controls across the business. This fully remote role offers the chance to play a key part in maintaining accuracy, driving process improvements, and supporting a high-performing finance function within a market leading business.

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor and report on financial performance and variances.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent financial data.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes in financial practices.

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified - Newly or Recently Qualified
• Experience in financial reporting is ideal but would consider first moves from practice
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
