Duties and Responsibilities



Essential Roles & Responsibilities


Responsibility for the technical aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual consolidation process, thus ensuring that Group Reporting is timely and accurate. Consolidation system is Prophix which is interfaced with Microsoft F&O for majority of the countries. Provide assurance that Group Finance systems are fit for purpose and ensuring best practice and controls across the Group; review of the Microsoft configuration across the Group and suggest improvements for to gain efficiencies and consistencies across the Group; Group Finance oversight of the ERP in the Countries and implementation of Microsoft F&O across the Group; Close collaboration with country finance and IT teams to manage finance systems infrastructure in response to the Group and Countries' needs; Managing up to 4 people (based in Indian SSC)

Consolidation System tasks (tasks for the team led by System Manager)


Manage the processes in the consolidation system (Prophix) Design reports as required Maintain Chart of Accounts Manage processes to run consolidation journals and FX Revaluations Enter in exchange Rates Set up Data Entry templates for Budget and Reforecasting Set up controls over reporting from Countries Set up controls on the Ico reconciliation in the System where possible

Countries ERP Systems (predominantly Microsoft F&O)


Build the governance over Group's finance systems implementation and maintenance; Work with local teams on implementation of the new systems to meet Group and Countries needs; Manage Group Finance Systems infrastructure

The candidate should be able to interact with local teams and be available to travel (mainly Europe)



Position Specifications



Qualifications/skills - essential


Work experience with consolidation systems Work experience with MS 365 (F&O preferable) Good interpersonal skills Experience in managing people (working with India SSC is preferable) Experience in working with Group Finance IT knowledge and experience Finance and reporting knowledge

Qualifications/skills - preferable


Partly qualified/Qualified - ACCA, ACA, CIMA Degree in IT and System
