Our client, an international business, is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team.
The role is offered for a 12-14 month maternity cover duration and with hybrid working.
This is a standalone position based in Kettering, Northamptonshire and you will report directly to the Head of Finance in Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
Accruals and prepayments.
VAT returns.
Monthly financial reporting to UK and global senior management.
Assisting with year end and liaising with auditors.
Sales Ledger - overseeing client accounts, monitoring incoming payments, following up with clients regarding outstanding balances.
Handling contracts and purchase orders - liaising with colleagues and clients for related correspondence.
Purchase Ledger - checking and processing purchase invoices, preparing and executing payments ensuring internal checks are completed, reconciliations and petty cash.
Assisting colleagues with import and export duties and compliance paperwork.
Assisting with payroll administration.
Ideally you will be AAT qualified or above, have over 5 years' relevant accounting experience, IT literate - SAP would be an advantage with excellent communication and organisation skills.
Early July start and approximately 8 week handover.
