About Finance
Finance is here to serve our customers who are the senior managers and board of directors of Kirintec. We report on the performance of the business. We strive to be a trusted partner and make sure there are no surprises. We will provide high quality, reliable, timely and accurate information that will support the business with its decision making..
We ensure that all financial records are accurate and kept up to date and are maintained to the correct International Financial Reporting Standards. This includes;
Costs
-how much the business pays its suppliers and spends on overheads and whether these costs are being controlled
Revenue
-how much money the business is generating
Cash flow
- monitoring and forecasting the amount of cash in the business is vital to ensure we do not run out of money
Profit and Loss
- knowing whether the business is making a profit or loss is vital when making business decisions
Business Performance
- measuring the performance of the business can inform future decisions about where improvements are required
External-
we liaise with and manage the relationship with external bodies such as accountants, banks, HMRC, companies house and other regulatory organisations and meet our statutory obligations to them.
We also monitor changes happening internally, within the business, and externally. We observe the impact of these changes on the finances of the business and report and advise accordingly.
This role is a key role within Finance
Main duties of the position
The thrust of this position is to:-
o Undertake all aspects of accounts work
o Consolidate, develop and run both accounting and other processes within the business.
o To contribute to other aspects of the internal administration of the company.
Oversight Purchase invoice processing, including invoice verification, data entry and payments.
Payroll
Produce quarterly group accounts
Line management of finance team members in Dubai
Supporting the cash flow forecasting, providing overhead and payroll information
Banking, payments, reconciliations etc. (incl Petty Cash)
Management of staff expenses, pre-payment cards, credit cards and policing travel arrangements
Lead with month-end processing and monthly reviews and reports
Lead with year-end processing once year-end work is complete
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, prepayments and accruals
VAT processing and reporting
Provide support with annual overhead budgeting and reporting on
Reporting
Build partnerships and strong relations with all senior managers and provide financial support to commercial decision making
Ensuring projects are financially and commercially robust.
Any other reasonable duties required to support the company in meeting its objectives
Have due regard for PV Grading, F680 and Export Licence Controls
Working to Kirintec's ISO standards
Adhere to the national security framework in accordance with Security Requirements for List X Contractors

Employment Terms
Kirintec currently employ a standard 5 day working week. The main working location will be Kirintec offices in Ross on Wye. Any remote working from home will be authorised on a case by case basis with the Functional Area Line Manager. Remote working will be facilitated with IT.
