The Finance Administrator supports the financial operations of DEYA Brewing by managing day-to-day financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Responding to inbound accounts enquiries, referring or escalating to the Head of Finance where necessary
Daily credit control, monitoring aged receivables and reporting overdue debtors to the Head of Finance
Ensure all allocated financial transactions are carried out in accordance with DEYA and external financial regulations including compliance in line with legislation relating to relevant areas (e.g. ensuring that VAT is included where applicable)
Review of the weekly supplier payment run
Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations and lead schedules, including stock, prepayments and accruals
Providing cover of the review of the purchase ledger and monthly supplier reconciliation (where there are team absences)
Providing cover of the weekly review of Xero POs and placing orders for those that require ordering
Providing cover of for Sales Operations (incoming sales orders) when the Sales Operations Manager is unavailable
Maintaining good working relationships with all stakeholders of the business
Performing other tasks as reasonably requested by the Head of Finance, CCO, COO and Directors

Essential selection criteria
Proven experience in finance, accounting, or administrative support roles
Strong numeracy and analytical skills with attention to accuracy
Proficiency in MS Excel and Xero
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
