Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation working closely with our accountant. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

ACCOUNTS

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budget preparation. Reconcile Xero with invoices and receipts Issue invoices, quotations and ensure prompt payments from clients. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Provide support for payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Provide support for CIS Scheme Respond to internal and external financial inquiries in a professional manner.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Ensure project handover packs are created and completed Ensure staff member service reports are filled out daily Liaise with staff members regarding additional works Assist with the smooth running of projects from an administrative standpoint

Experience



Proven experience in a similar financial administration role is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Xero, Tradify and Hubdoc is advantageous). Excellent numerical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders. A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is desirable but not essential.
