We are seeking a Financial Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in data entry, grant management as well as invoicing. This position requires strong organisational and IT skills and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
Duties
Maintain accurate and organised financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents
Process all monthly invoices, including tracking and ensuring timely payments
Manage the Petty Cash register
Assist the Chief Officer with the administration of grants, including tracking and analysing data for reporting
Manage the Gift Aid process
Assist the Chief Officer with compiling monthly and annual finance reports, including the presentation of financial data
Provide other general office admin support as needed
Experience
Good knowledge of the Xero accounting system (not essential but an advantage)
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace
Experience of working with data management systems/CRMs
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience of charity financial management (not essential but an advantage)
Ability to prioritise workload and to work effectively in a small team
Good awareness of GDPR, Confidentiality and Safeguarding
Friendly and empathic personality with an ability to work sensitively with our client base (primarily older adults)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
