We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Adviser Manager to lead and oversee a team of financial advisers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service and adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on expertise in financial advisory services to drive performance and maintain client satisfaction within the UK financial services industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of financial advisers to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent client outcomes.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement development plans to enhance individual and team performance.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Client Services & Relationship Management
Ensure the team provides tailored financial planning advice to clients, meeting their individual needs and goals.
Manage escalated client concerns or complaints effectively, ensuring resolution aligns with company values and regulatory guidelines.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all team activities comply with UK financial services regulations, including FCA guidelines.
Monitor and review advisers' work to maintain high standards of compliance and ethical conduct.
Identify and address any risks or breaches, taking corrective action as needed.
Strategic Planning & Performance
Set and monitor team sales and performance targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to improve client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
Analyse market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and service improvement.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
Act as a key liaison between senior management and the financial advisory team, ensuring effective communication of goals and updates.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Qualifications
Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification (e.g., Level 4 Diploma).
Chartered Financial Planner or equivalent status (desired but not mandatory).
Demonstrable CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to maintain regulatory competence.
Experience
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within financial services.
Solid understanding of UK financial products, markets, and regulatory requirements.
