Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial and Accounting Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

? Maintain accurate financial records, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

? Prepare and present financial reports to clients and management, facilitating informed decision-making.

? Collaborate with clients to ensure timely payments and adherence to credit terms.

? Verify the accuracy of invoices and ensure prompt processing of payments.

? Monitor and evaluate accounting systems, providing insights to auditors and recommending improvements.

? Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT filings, and other statutory financial documents in compliance with regulatory requirements.

? Support budgeting and forecasting activities by analyzing financial data and identifying trends or variances.

? Utilize accounting software and systems to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.

? Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

? Professional qualifications from recognized bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).

? Proven experience in financial record-keeping and reporting.

? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

? Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
