Apprentice Financial Content Creator,

alongside studying for a

Junior Financial Market Analyst Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Working with experienced colleagues, this varied role will involve content producing with analysis work of the forex, commodities, fixed income and stock markets.

The successful candidate for this unusual apprenticeship role will not need to have any financial analyst experience as full training and support will be provided. They will need to be ambitious and dedicated.

Key Responsibilities

on a daily basis will include:

Providing voice and text headlines Gather, curate and analyse content from the financial web Manage regular posting to social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter, etc. to improve social media presence and engagement Create graphics and written content social media platforms and the website Keeping up to date with news headlines throughout the day/week Set up economic releases for the day ahead using various platforms to manage them. E.g. making sure figures are correct and any missing speaker events are included Review the news that has previously been put out to get an understanding of what to expect for the day ahead Read headlines over a microphone or type headlines that will be put out on the site through various platforms. Look in detail of the headlines that have come through to gain a better understanding of what is going on in the markets an global economy. This will also include understanding every release and what it means. Keeping an eye on the markets and how news affects it will also be required. Large moves can be very exciting to see when a release or headline is the cause. Knowledge is key, so you will be required to use the resources provided to learn about the global economy, and what is currently going on. Part of your day will also include time for study for the apprenticeship.

Working Week:

35 hour week - Monday to Friday working 1pm to 10pm x 4 days and one day learning at Chichester College as required.

Salary:

17,000 per annum. Please see further information on the Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage below.

Qualifications Required:

GCSE Math and English required minimum grade 4 to apply for this course.

Things to Consider:

A full-time permanent position will be offered to apprentices who not only perform their duties their duties but have become valued as a member of the team. There will be possibility to work with us in either management of a session or create their own product that they can run, and support will be provided to help get a product off the ground. This role will help prepare the successful apprentice for a career in the city, where they can apply the skills learned in analysis and communication. resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years prior to the start of learning and have work authorisation for the UK. Applicants

WILL NOT

BE eligible to apply if they have already achieved a qualification which is equal to or higher thank the apprenticeship standard on offer. Applicants

MUST BE

resident in the area local to the apprenticeship opportunity or be prepared to relocate in time to start employment and study. Applicants

MUST BE

committed to the learning and stay to the end of the apprenticeship. This role will start immediately on recruitment with the college learning starting in September.
