Job Description
An exciting Financial Controller position for a high growth Private Equity backed group. An operational position encompassing all areas of Financial Control.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insightful analysis to senior management.
- Ensure effective financial controls and risk management procedures are in place.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making processes.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and financial efficiency.
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven expertise in financial management and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments..
