Job Description

El Al Israel Airlines are looking for a Financial Controller who will manage financial operations of the Company in the UK, Ireland and the Benelux countries, under the job scope and together with The Head Office Team.

The ideal profile is a qualified accountant with experience as a Financial Controller and with the ability to work independently and cover multiple tasks simultaneously. The FC will be based in the company offices in London and will report to the Regional MD and Head office Finance Managers.

About the role:

To be responsible for the oversight and delivery of annual budgets, business plan and revenue forecasting. To develop cash flow forecasting and maintain a long-term cash forecast and cash flow management. To deal with Payroll, management accounts process, reconciliation of intercompany accounts, corporation tax VAT returns, APD submissions, variance of budgets, raising of sales ledger invoices, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations. To support the branch in commercial negotiations with current and potential suppliers and partners, with responsibility for legal and contractual agreements and supplier relationships. To manage the local Company Pension Fund Finance, presenting the company as part of the trustees' board and deliver advice and analysis to Company executives.

About the candidate:

ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified. Has ability to review processes from broad to drill down perspective and strives for efficiency and effectiveness. Speaking Hebrew would be a major asset Having previous experience working with an Israeli company, and familiarity and understanding of Israeli culture would be an advantage Has strong financial and analytical skills and is able to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deliverables within a designated timeline Decision maker who has ability to operate independently. Excellent communicator with great organisational skills
