Following significant growth and private investment, we are now seeking to hire a full-time Head of Finance / Financial Controller to strengthen and mature our financial operations as we enter our next phase of expansion.

The Role



This is a hands-on, commercially focused finance role. Reporting directly to the CEO, and working closely with our existing fractional CFO, you will take full ownership of day-to-day financial management, while helping to strengthen financial controls, reporting, processes and systems across the business.

You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information to management and investors including at board meetings, driving improved financial discipline across the business, and building the financial operating platform to support continued high-growth performance.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Control & Reporting

Full ownership of management accounts, monthly close, reporting pack preparation Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis Cashflow forecasting and treasury management Balance sheet control, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments Revenue recognition (incl. deferred revenue and multi-year contracts) Working on statutory accounts, tax filings and year-end processes VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D tax credit claims (working with external advisors as needed)
Commercial Support

Commercial input into pricing models, sales proposals and contract reviews Margin analysis by customer, service line and channel Support commercial negotiations with suppliers and channel partners Assist bid teams on pricing and financial modelling for large contracts Build out ARR, MRR, churn, margin and other SaaS / MSSP KPIs
Systems, Processes & Controls

Strengthen financial processes, controls and policies Evaluate and implement systems upgrades (e.g. forecasting tools) Own and manage finance data integrity across the business Build scalable processes as the business grows
Board & Investor Support

Prepare reporting packs for Board and investors Work closely with the CEO and CFO on fundraising and due diligence processes Support commercial reporting and modelling for future funding rounds

Key Requirements



Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent Proven experience in a financial controller or senior finance role in a growing business Experience of SaaS, recurring revenue models, or managed services businesses highly preferable Strong understanding of deferred revenue, multi-year contract structures and margin analysis Highly analytical, detail-focused with strong financial modelling skills Excellent commercial awareness, able to partner closely with non-finance functions Hands-on, self-starting mindset; comfortable operating in a fast-moving, scaling environment Prior experience supporting Board reporting relations desirable
