About the Role:

ACL Hygienics as part of Tridon-Europe is a global leader in flow control solutions for the pharmaceutical and food & beverage sectors. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to manage and oversee our financial operations at our Keighley site and across Europe. This role is essential in ensuring financial accuracy, strategic planning, and maintaining a high level of financial integrity in alignment with our commitment to service and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce monthly management accounts in collaboration with the Finance Assistant, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Prepare and present financial reports, including KPIs, performance insights, and recommendations to management.

Manage cash flow and asset control, including asset registration for real estate and leased assets, as well as debtor management.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including planning, data collection, execution, and ongoing control.

Monitor and evaluate financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

Oversee tax requirements and ensure compliance with legal reporting obligations in collaboration with an external accountancy firm.

Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including accountants, banks, and insurers.

Manage, mentor, and develop the Finance Assistant to ensure their growth and contribution to the business.

Provide financial advisory support to management at Tridon, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Develop, track, and report on KPIs to support business performance and target achievement.

Hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

Qualified, part-qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE) accountant.

Proven experience in a similar financial management or business controller role.

Strong communicator with credibility and confidence to advise and influence senior stakeholders.

Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement change.

Analytical mindset with a focus on achieving business performance targets.

Technologically adept, with experience in financial software and automation tools.

Commitment to personal and professional growth, with a desire to expand in the role.
