We're looking for a Financial Controller to :




support the delivery of financial, regulatory and tax reporting requirements oversee the adherence to key controls and procedures support the technological transformation of processes owned by the finance function assess the integrity of data held in the financial reporting systems produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc financial analysis, insights and KPIs for senior management

Your team




You will be joining our Finance team based in Jersey, producing critical financial and regulatory reports for the Bank's Wealth Management, Trust and Investment Banking businesses. We provide insights on the Bank's performance in an intuitive and flexible way. This benefits both our internal and external stakeholders. As a Financial Controller, you will play an important role in helping our stakeholders analyse financial information and make timely decisions on the business needs. You will be supported by a wider team of accountants and controllers based in London, India and Poland who support the Bank's Jersey and London operations.

Your expertise




a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or ICAS) with ideally 3 years+ relevant experience in financial accounting and control knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) expertise in Jersey Banking legislation (specifically prudential reporting guidelines) and tax legislation experience in accounting for structured financial instruments and derivatives strong analytical and communication skills proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge of tools and applications such as SAP, Business Objects, Alteryx, PowerBI and/or VBA preferred the ability to collaborate with cross border teams and to challenge the outputs from the finance processes
