We are seeking a high-calibre Financial Controller to lead the financial operations and reporting for the UK and Ireland subsidiaries and play a key role in the wider Group Accounting Function. This is a critical leadership role within the finance team, requiring a technically strong accountant with deep expertise in IFRS, group accounting, intercompany transactions, and a proven track record of process improvement and automation. The successful candidate will also oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) function to ensure operational excellence and strong internal controls in procure-to-pay processes.

About the role



Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP (UK & Irish)



Liaise with third party service providers on timing and quality of submission of financial information relating to Fund entities


Ensure timely and accurate consolidation reporting to Group Finance


Own and maintain robust financial controls and policies, ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks


Oversee preparation and submission of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors



Monitor changes in accounting standards and ensure compliance


Liaising with third party clients in Ireland, overseeing cash management and control, and working with operational areas to manage deliverables in support of servicing provision

About you



Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 8+ years of post-qualified experience


Strong technical accounting background, including IFRS & UK GAAP


Deep experience in group accounting, intercompany transactions and eliminations, and technical accounting advisory



Proven ability to drive process improvement, automation, and controls enhancement across finance functions


Experience overseeing or working closely with an Accounts Payable function


Demonstrated success working in a large, complex, multinational organisation, preferably within asset management or financial services



Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, Anaplan); advanced Excel and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) a plus


Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
