Job Description

This new created Financial Controller role will be an integral part in facilitating the continued growth of the business. The role will have full responsibility for all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting. The position requires expertise and skill to drive financial efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
The role reports in the Managing Director and will include:

  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies and controls.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Capability to lead and develop a team effectively.
