Overview

The Director of Finance is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and regulatory compliance. The Director will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and sound fiscal management while supporting the organisation's goals and objectives.

An understanding of membership businesses model would be of benefit.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. Prepare and interpret financial reports to provide insights into profit & loss, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation. Lead budgeting processes and forecasting efforts to ensure financial stability. Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives to drive business development. Implement cost control measures and conduct cost accounting practices to enhance profitability.

Skills

Proficiency in financial software for effective financial management and reporting. Exceptional analytical skills for financial analysis, account reconciliation, and account analysis. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, risk management, and fiscal management. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of technical expertise in finance along with strong leadership qualities to guide the business towards achieving organizational success.
