As a Financial Lines Underwriter, you'll be part of a collaborative team that's focused on profitable growth and long-term broker relationships. You'll underwrite Professional Indemnity, D&O and Crime risks, applying sound judgement and strategic thinking to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with our appetite

You'll make an impact by:




As a Financial Lines Underwriter you will be:

Underwriting and negotiating new and/or renewal Professional Indemnity, D&O and Crime business within your authority

Building & maintaining excellent broker relationships through regular engagement

Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitable growth

Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices

Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas

Representing our brand at broker meetings, industry events and field visits as needed


Your skills and experience:




To be successful in your role of Financial Lines Underwriter you will require:

Preferably experience in Professional Indemnity, D&O or Crime Underwriting but we may be able to consider other classes of business.

A sharp eye for detail and a head for strategy

Excellent communication skills

The ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers
