Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Duties

Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors. Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Conduct data entry tasks with precision to ensure the integrity of financial records. Utilise accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for various financial transactions and reporting. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide insights on budgetary matters. Assist in the preparation of audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. Monitor cash flow and assist in managing working capital effectively.

Experience

Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the financial services sector. Familiarity with accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft is essential. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles. Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to manage individual tasks efficiently. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
