The role of
Financial Operations Assistant
is really important to us. You will be responsible for accurately invoicing clients and other related tasks including the collection of direct debits, process improvement and wider projects.

office, working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Your responsibilities day to day will be...
Ensure all invoicing is completed within agreed timescales for the fuel business within the Radius Group, ensuring a high degree of accuracy for all invoicing and is completed within agreed timescales.
Converting sales orders into customer invoices and ensuring completeness of revenue with all charges being raised accurately and in full.
Following procedures and strong controls to ensure processes are completed in full and to a best-in-class standard.
Assist with process reviews and identify improvements to existing processes to unlock efficiencies and reduce manual effort.
Responsible for monthly and annual subscription billing routines.
Processing of Direct Debits in line with strict deadlines.
Responsible for the accurately posting and reconciling bank transactions daily.
Working closely with the Credit Department in order to close down queries in a timely manner.
Complete reconciliations using multiple data sources to ensure completeness of revenue.
Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with all key stakeholders relating to this role.
Producing supporting reports and commentary to explain movements in subscription and non-subscription billing.
Handle administrative and billing-oriented duties and responsibilities as required.
Assist the Financial Operations Manager with ad hoc projects as and when necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience of working in a transactional finance related role.
Excellent attention to detail.
Flexibility to react to changing demands and opportunities.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Advanced Excel skills - including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant information.
Experience of fostering strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.
Show an impressive attitude and not only take full responsibility for their duties but are enthusiastic to take on new challenges which will develop their own career.
Experience of Sage 200, Sage X3, NetSuite or similar accounting systems would be desirable.
