Job summary
We are looking for an experience and detail-oriented finance professional to join our team at VisitBritain. In this key role, you will lead the year-end accounting close process and ensure the accurate delivery of statutory accounts in full compliance with relevant disclosure requirements.
You will take ownership of the preparation and submission of BTA's CLoS returns and statutory reporting to the Department for Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS), while effectively managing coordination with the National Audit Office (NAO) for external audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the year-end accounting and statutory reporting processes.
Prepare and submit BTA's CLoS returns and reports to DCMS.
Coordinate external audits in collaboration with the NAO.
Ensure UK VAT compliance.
Support the preparation of UK and overseas corporation tax returns with external consultants.
Provide strati tax advice on domestic and international tax liabilities.
Oversee fiscal operations across international jurisdictions to ensure compliance.
