BEAR Scotland is a leading road maintenance and management service provider in Scotland, maintaining and improving Scottish Trunk Roads including bridges and structures through some of the most scenic, but challenging, parts of the country.



We have an exciting opportunity within BEAR Scotland to join us as a Financial Services Administrative Assistant based in our Perth office



The Administrative Assistant is a permanent post within our Finance Services Team. You will be based in our newly refurbished head-office in Perth, and report to the Finance Services Manager. You will be responsible for accurately processing all timesheets on a weekly basis, and on occasion, assisting with purchase ledger tasks.


Responsibilities and Activities

:


Gather weekly timesheets from all colleagues Check and verify hours worked, any changes or additional requests. Chasing delayed submissions Send approved summaries and timesheets to payroll Keep accurate records of approvals, timesheets, and all documentation for audit purposes. On occasion, assist purchase ledger department Any other duties associated with the role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:




Previous experience in a similar role will be desirable Strong Microsoft Excel operating knowledge and associated experience and data entry skills An interest and understanding of financial tasks Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet weekly deadlines Ability to work alone and part of a team High attention to detail
