We are now looking for the above role to safely and efficiently operate various types of material handling equipment (counterbalance, reach and electric pallet truck) and utilise the Stock Control System to transfer, store, pick and load finished goods as part of the Packhall Warehouse team.



Your Responsibilities

Responsible for own personal safety and that of others working in their vicinity. Operating material handling equipment (counterbalance, reach and electric pallet truck) to transfer, store, pick and load finished goods and other materials. Carrying out and record routine daily checks on MH equipment and reporting any faults to WH supervisor. Use Stock Control System via either truck mounted tablet or PC to receive tasks, input data and fulfil duties. Labelling finished product and completing relevant documentation in a legible, accurate and timely manner. Carrying out vehicle hygiene checks and preloading product inspections. Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and GMP compliance conducive with a food manufacturing environment. Carry out routine and ad-hoc stock take activities. Carrying out battery charging and change procedure as necessary. Effective communication between shifts, departments and layers of organization. Participation in Performance Excellence improvement activities where appropriate.


Your Profile

Current and valid Counterbalance and Reach truck licenses. Educated to GCSE (or equivalent). Good basic Maths & English skills. Able to use IT equipment for basic and routine tasks. Good teamworking and communication skills. Experience in manufacturing/factory environment beneficial but not essential.
