Job Description

Storefast Solutions is a dynamic, forward thinking and growing manufacturing, contract packing and warehousing company based in Kent. We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to join our Finished Goods team on the morning shift.

Reporting to the Finished Goods Manager, they will be responsible for managing a team of operatives, ensuring production is manufactured efficiently and cost effectively.

This role will involve working on the various production lines and production facilities within Storefast Solutions and will require a high level of versatility and flexibility.

Main responsibilities will include:

Supervising operatives in their daily tasks including meeting production targets, ensuring goods are produced to the required quality standards, updating production records and paperwork. Manage holiday requirement and any disciplinary actions in the team. Ensure that there are enough trained operators to meet production requirements. Ensure effective production of quality products. Develop and define a "right first time" culture and that this is fully understood by the operators. Maintain safety in the workplace and good cleaning housekeeping standards at all time. Completing day-to-day production tasks as directed by the Finished Goods Manager. Ability to meet quality and efficiency targets. Be flexible in performing different duties around the department. Read and understand working standards, specifications and compliance within production. Safety requirements of manual handling, working at height and confined spaces. Follow all company standard operating procedures. Responsible for handling all products efficiently and correctly. Pro-actively respond and find solutions to production issues and potential problems report to the Finished Goods Manager.
Person Specification:

Experience in leading a team. Experience of working in a customer focussed environment. Experience of working within a factory environment is desired, but not essential. A positive can-do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team. Have a good understanding of English. Educated to A Level or equivalent/City and Guilds/Higher B-Tech. Have a basic knowledge to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 34,500.00-37,500.00 per year
