Xpress Labels is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Finishing Machine Operator to join their busy production team.

This is more than just a machine operator role. You'll be a key part of ensuring every self-adhesive label leaving our production line meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and presentation.

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, organised, and takes pride in their work, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and run finishing machinery, including rotary die cutting, in line with standard operating procedures Carry out quality checks and remove non-conforming products to maintain high standards Accurately pack and label finished goods, keeping presentation and quality a priority Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area, following all housekeeping and health & safety standards Keep accurate records of production and output Follow BRC Packaging & Printing (Issue 7) standards at all times Support colleagues and provide flexibility for shift cover when needed.

What we are looking for:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Organised, methodical, and reliable in a busy production environment Able to work flexibly across rotating shifts (6am-2pm / 1:45pm-9:45pm) Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery is an advantage but not essential - full training will be provided.
