We are seeking to appoint a First Inspection Team Member to work within our established Production Team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for carrying out finishing processes accurately and efficiently. The role supports the delivery of high-quality finished fabrics or garments ready for packing and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
To perform finishing processes (such as scouring, milling , pressing, folding, washing and gigging) according to established procedures and quality standards.
To identify, report, and help resolve defects or quality issues during the finishing stage.
To ensure finished products comply with customer specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.
Follow and complete technical data packs.
To maintain consistency and attention to detail across all finished products.
To work collaboratively with operators, supervisors, and quality teams to meet production targets.
To follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures always.
To maintain a clean and organized work area.
To support continuous improvement by providing feedback on process or quality issues.
Knowledge, skills and experience
Good eyesight and attention to detail.
Known for high standards and attention to quality.
Ability to stand for a long period of time.
Manual handling - able to lift wet fabric and manoeuvre loaded barrows.
Basic Computer skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills.
