Location:

Field-based role (ideally within 1 hour of Newbury)

Contract:

Full-time (part-time considered)

Salary:

Up to 40,000 basic + overtime, callout, travel time

The Role

We're seeking a skilled

Fire Alarm Engineer

to carry out installation, servicing, and maintenance across a range of systems.

This is a

field-based role,

you won't be tied to an office, but ideally you'll live within an hour of Newbury. Fire alarm experience is essential, but if you're keen to broaden your skills, we'll train you on security systems too (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control).

What you'll be doing:

Installing, servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding fire alarm systems Assisting with work on security systems (with training if needed) Delivering great customer service and maintaining high standards of work Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety requirements

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced: 2-3 years working with fire alarm systems Qualified: FIA training desirable Reliable: A full UK driving licence is a must Proactive: Motivated, problem-solving, and able to work independently
