Fire Alarm Engineer



We are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and small works of fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of system design and have hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and practical skills to ensure that fire safety systems are effective and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities



Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate fire safety measures required. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with customers to integrate fire safety measures into building designs. Provide technical support and guidance on fire safety regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities. Overtime and 24 hour on call.

Experience



Proven experience in system design related to fire protection or similar fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installation processes. Previous electrical experience is advantageous for understanding system integrations. Background in construction is preferred, providing insight into building processes and requirements. Fire extinguishers experience proffered but not essential.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
