Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Fire Alarm Engineer

to join our growing fire protection team. This role involves a mix of service and installation work, primarily focused on fire alarm systems that operate in conjunction with fire suppression systems. While experience with suppression systems is not required, a willingness to learn is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out

installation and commissioning

of fire alarm systems. Complete routine

servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding

. Work on sites where alarm systems are integrated with fire suppression systems (training provided for suppression-related components). Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and company procedures.

Travel to client sites

, with some overnight stays when required. Maintain clear and accurate service records and documentation.

Requirements:

Must hold a

full UK driving licence

. Must live within

45 minutes of our office in Burnham, SL1 7HZ

. Experience in fire alarm installation and servicing is

essential

. Willing and able to work away from home when required. ECS/CSCS card or similar certification is beneficial. Experience working on construction or commercial sites preferred. Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Desirable:

Knowledge of systems such as Kentec, Advanced or similar. Experience with addressable and conventional alarm systems. Any prior involvement in fire suppression systems (not essential).
