Responsibilities:
This Full-time, on-site Fire and Security Engineer role is bases in Peterborough covers the east anglia areas. We require the candidate to be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm and security systems, as well as conducting associated assessments, inspections, and tests. The Fire and Security Engineer will also work closely with customers to identify needs and provide solutions to meet those needs, providing top-notch customer service while ensuring system compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience with fire alarm and security system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Experience with conducting system assessments, inspections, and tests
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Hold IPAF, CSCS (ECS equivalent) and Ladder Training certificates desirable
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various sites
- Technical certification or associate qualifications in related field preferred
