Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our team at AMS Facilities (SouthWest) Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fire safety systems to protect our clients' properties. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
Design and implement fire safety systems in accordance with regulations.
Conduct site assessments to determine fire safety requirements.
Install and maintain fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety equipment.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific fire safety needs.
Prepare technical documentation including schematics and system designs.
Utilize CAD software for system design and layout planning.
Provide training and support to clients on fire safety procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Fire Engineer or similar role in facilities management.
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
Proficiency in CAD software for system design.
Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to installations.
Mechanical and electrical knowledge is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
